If this all sounds good, you may be looking for a career in Electric Distribution Technology. Blue Ridge Community and Technical College and Allegheny Energy have teamed up to offer the Electric Distribution Technology program, providing college-level educational opportunities. In two years or less, you can learn the necessary skills to get a job at a variety of local utility companies, earning a Certificate or Associate of Applied Science in Electric Distribution Technology.
